Q. I do XC would running track help me in xc or should I be running longer distances by myself.

A. Do track. It will help with your speed and you will have all summer to work on distance.

 

Q. I feel sore should I stop running for a while.

A. You have to understand the different between injury and soreness. Soreness needs to be ran though it will get better. Injury on the other hand needs time off to recover.

 

Q. How many rest days should I take.

A. I highly advise at least one probably better to have two. Your body needs time to recover.

 

Q. Is running bad for your knees and other joints.

A. No in the long run it helps them.
